Carmenta Group announces strategic decision to focus on geospatial technologies and autonomous driving solutions

Following a structured review process of strategic options, initiated mid last year, Carmenta agreed to divest its Carmenta Public Safety business activities to CSAM Health Group AS (Norway), a leading provider of niche eHealth solutions in the Nordic region, as of today.

In the light of an accelerating market consolidation in the European public safety sector, the partnering of Carmenta Public Safety with CSAM, as a much larger, focused eHealth solutions group with a strong Nordic presence, will improve its ability to continue to grow as a leading provider of 112/emergency response software solutions.

Carmenta Group will from now on accelerate its growth drive in its original core business, Carmenta Geospatial Technologies, a world-leader in mission-critical situational awareness solutions, serving major defence and security industry customers, and in growing business unit Carmenta Automotive, developing next-level situational awareness products and real-time information services for connected and automated driving solutions.
