In the newly published project report of the CeViSS – “Cloud enhanced Vehicle intelligent Sensor Sharing” project, the partners presents findings and insights. Read how:
- data registered by vehicle sensors, was collected, analysed and enhanced in real-time on a central cloud level and then shared with other vehicle fleets
- the Central Traffic Cloud sent instructions to vehicles, such as a recommended speed inside geofences (to be used by the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)) and search requests to look for specific symbols or texts
- the Central Traffic Cloud had direct control of on-board cameras to start sending video when the test vehicle approached an accident scene
The project was financed in part by Vinnova / Drive Sweden with partnership including Carmenta, CEVT, Ericsson, Volvo Cars and Veoneer.
