Meet Tobias Lindell, Carmenta’s new Account Executive for Swedish Key Accounts

With more than 25 years of experience in the defense sector, Tobias Lindell has joined Carmenta as Account Executive, working with key customers in Sweden.

What brought Tobias to Carmenta?

When asked what made him want to join Carmenta, Tobias points to both the technology and the role it plays in defense.

“What attracted me to Carmenta was the combination of advanced software products and a highly relevant mission. Defense capabilities are becoming increasingly software-driven, and reliable geospatial technology and situational awareness are an important part of that development. It felt like a very interesting time to join Carmenta.”

First impressions

A few weeks into his new role, Tobias says two things have particularly stood out: the people and the level of expertise.

“I’ve been impressed by the level of expertise throughout the company, but also by how welcoming everyone has been. There’s a lot of specialist knowledge here, and at the same time a real willingness to share it. I’m also discovering just how many different defense and security applications Carmenta’s technology is part of.”

Strengthening the Swedish team

Tobias brings extensive experience from the Swedish defense sector, with a background spanning sales, business development and commercial management, both in Sweden and internationally. As Account Executive, he will work closely with Carmenta’s Swedish customers and partners.

Morad El Amrani, Chief Sales Officer at Carmenta, sees Tobias’ experience as a strong addition to the team.

“Tobias knows the Swedish defense market very well and brings both commercial experience and a strong understanding of our customers’ environment. That combination will be valuable as we continue to develop our relationships with customers and partners in Sweden.”
