As 2024 comes to a close, I want to take this opportunity to reflect on a successful year for Carmenta and share our excitement for the opportunities ahead in 2025. It has been a year of progress, innovation, and collaboration, none of which would have been possible without the continued trust of our customers and the dedication of our team.
This year, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming several new and innovative customers across a range of sectors, including next generation air, land, and sea defence systems. These exciting projects draw on our expertise to address complex challenges and deliver forward-thinking solutions.
I’m particularly excited about the potential future impact of these projects and look forward to seeing them evolve into systems that drive meaningful change and operational excellence in the coming years.
We’re proud to have strengthened our relationships with existing customers. The results of our 2024 customer survey underscored this, with high customer satisfaction scores and glowing feedback about our customer support. As one customer shared, “Great technical ability, great products, and easy to work with”.
This invaluable feedback drives us to continuously improve and work to exceed expectations. I extend a heartfelt thank-you to our incredible employees who work tirelessly to provide timely and expert support, and to our customers for their ongoing trust and collaboration.
2024 has been a great year for innovation and advancements across Carmenta’s product portfolio, particularly in the area of uncrewed systems.
In May, we announced an exciting collaboration with BAE Systems Hägglunds to develop a solution that integrates autonomous drone surveillance capabilities into the CV90 combat vehicle, enabling extended sensor reach and situational awareness.
In September, at DroneX in London, we unveiled a technical preview of Carmenta UAS Services, a solution designed to enable software developers to integrate advanced routing and geospatial analysis capabilities for autonomous flights.
Beyond these, we’ve made significant improvements to our products Carmenta Engine, Carmenta Server, Carmenta Server Core, and Carmenta Map Builder, further enhancing their performance and capabilities.
We were honored to once again be selected to present a technical paper at the prestigious GVSETS conference. Our presentation, ‘Risk-adaptive rendezvous planning for resupply missions in the battlefield’, was very well received and we also shared a version of this paper in a webinar broadcasted later in the year.
Carmenta was proud to participate in several key events in 2024, including Eurosatory in France, the AFCEA Exhibition in Germany, and AUSA in the US. We were also honored to be one of 39 companies selected to participate in Thunderstorm 24-4 in the US, where we showed our geospatial capabilities in the UGV and UAS domains.
In 2024, we also launched our new website and introduced a refreshed graphical profile, reflecting our commitment to innovation and excellence. The updated design not only aims to enhance the user experience but also to better showcase the breadth of our expertise and solutions. We’re thrilled with the positive feedback received so far and invite you to explore our new digital home. Let us know what you think!
