Carmenta Selected for the U.S. Foreign Comparative Testing Program

Following a recent visit from the U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane), and TriStar to Carmenta’s Gothenburg office, we would like to share more about the Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT) Program behind our ongoing collaboration. We are proud to have been selected for the program in 2025 as one of only two Swedish companies chosen to participate.

The Foreign Comparative Testing program is a long-running U.S. Department of Defense initiative that evaluates mature technologies from allied nations to identify solutions that can quickly and cost-effectively strengthen military capabilities. The program focuses on testing and assessing proven technologies that may address current or emerging operational requirements across the U.S. armed forces.

Being selected for the FCT program is an important recognition of the technology and expertise we have developed together with customers and partners over many years. We look forward to working closely with our U.S. partners to demonstrate how commercial geospatial technology can help enable the next generation of multi-domain operations.
