SDK Development License

For developers building solutions.
Required to actively develop with Carmenta Engine.

• Available as an Annual subscription or one-time purchase Perpetual license.
• Provides full access to Carmenta Engine, our core development platform.
• Includes access to all our Extensions, depending on purchasing model.
• The license is tied to a specific workstation (can be easily transferred when needed).

Runtime License for Internal Use

To deploy or run the application for internal testing, integration, and demonstration, in a laboratory environment or on test systems.

• Available as an Annual subscription or one-time purchase Perpetual license.
• Required to run applications developed with the SDK license.
• Includes runtime components only. It does not include development tools or documentation, for this the SDK is required.
• The number of required laboratory licenses depends on your development setup.

Runtime License for Distribution

For deployment of applications to customers and end users.

• Available only as Perpetual license (one-time purchase).
• Used to distribute applications containing Carmenta Engine to your customers or partners.
• The distribution license ties together the entire value chain, from development to final delivery.
• Required for each individual installation at the end user’s site – whether it’s a standalone solution or part of a larger system.

Support & Maintenance

Stay up-to-date, supported, and secure.

Our Support & Maintenance Agreement ensures that your system remains updated, reliable and protected against potential risks, with expert assistance just an email away. It is available for all Carmenta Engine license types.

It includes:

• Access to the latest versions of Carmenta Engine at no additional cost.
• Service releases and bug fixes to address any issues that may arise.
• Access to our e-mail support service via support@carmenta.com, where assistance is provided directly by our developers.
• Access to our online self-study course with recorded lectures and demonstrations from our product experts that will get you started on your development journey.
